Blizzard is the last descendant of an ancient line of changeling royalty, out dating King Cold and his brood by two hundred years. Blizzard is about 6' 7" In height and weighs over 600 lbs. Blizzard's primary drive is to attain ultimate power. He cares little for wealth or pleasure and spends most of his time training and looking for challenging opponents. Blizzard is also known for his pride, insisting on being called Lord Blizzard by those he views as inferior (just about anyone).

It is said that his father was killed by King Cold's father and that Blizzard holds a burning hatred for King Cold and his offspring, but this is merely speculated. However it is known that Blizzard is no ally of any of the other changelings out there, for indeed he cares only for his own progression as a warrior. He seeks to improve himself to the point of true perfection in both body and mind, even if that means taking the lives of countless other organisms.

Through a paid informant spying on Frieza, Blizzard learned of the dragon balls on Namek. Learning of the magic that these balls possessed he traveled to Namek in search of the dragon balls but was simply not powerful enough to defeat the Namekians living there. It was on Namek that Blizzard found his current underling, a Namekian named Nibunu. Nibunu was badly injured by a monster while tending the fields. Blizzard decided to kidnapped the injured Namekian and used the space pod's healing tank to aid his recovery.

After many hours, Nibunu was restored to health and attempted to fight Blizzard. Unfortunately for the Namekian, Blizzard easily defeated him, and forced him to split into his good and evil side. Afterwards blizzard took the evil Nibunu as his disciple, knowing that the Namekians made the dragon balls and were the most reliable source of information on them. With his new underling, Blizzard left the planet Namek, promising to return when he had gained the power to defeat the local inhabitants and use the dragon balls as he saw fit.
