Cross was born into a different life than almost every other Saiyan was. Unlike most Saiyan's, Cross has lived without seeing or even knowing the true identity of his parents or descendants since his first moment of birth. His biological mother had apparently been killed during child birth since she was found dead when baby Cross was discovered, and the identity of his father was never known. The ones responsible for finding Cross and potentially saving his life happened to be a young Saiyan couple who had moved away from the rest of the civilization to live peaceful lives as farmers on Vegeta. Upon finding Cross, they immediately felt obligated to look after him and help raise the boy into peaceful beings like themselves.

As Cross aged, he grew into a very peaceful and respectable young Saiyan. He was very adventerous and always felt obligated to help others when they were in need. Since he wasn't born into a world of war, his thirst for blood and battle was almost nonexistent. Although the blood than ran through his vains made him subject to a few Saiyan personality traits, he was different in more ways. The couple that raised him made it their goal to keep him away from the violent tendencies of their kind, but after noticing Cross having aspirations and talent to be a fighter, decided to train him and teach him the few secrets and techniques they had to offer.

When Cross reached the age of 18, he left the farm on which he was raised to learn more about his kin and hopefully his family. He has recently caught the attention of King Vegeta himself and is supposedly using the King to search for his ancestors. His goals are to one day leave his home planet to search for his true calling and to use the skills he learned on the way to be a protector of peaceful beings.
