At a young age, growing up, Frieza was given whatever his heart pleased, so it is no surprise that he has turned into the person he is today. His parents showed little love or affection to their youngest child; Frieza was mentally traumatised by the murder of his mother by the hand of his own father. The fear that consumed him led the young changeling to block out the dying screams of his mother inside his head by killing anything himself. Playing with mice, holding them at his mercy before executing them would be a simple day time game. At the age of 16 he had killed his first guard by 'accident'. After that, Frieza had gained a lust for blood. The concept of controlling life was all too astounding to the Prince, and so the seed the grew into such a tyrannical beast was born.

Upon joining Frieza's private army, Vega grew very quickly through the ranks during her time there. She created quite a reputation for herself due to her brutal fighting nature and almost merciless style. Like Orvas, she too remained ever loyal to Frieza, more so than others. Perhaps it was because he took her in and had respect for her where others did not.

Vega accompanied Orvas on the Quesou mission, recovering Android #25 from the research centre they discovered there. However, when she entered the laboratory they had been sent to, Vega had recieved strange pshokenetic and telepathic powers, leaving her with ominous visions of her own murder at the hands of her own employer. She too witnessed the destruction of planet Seizou, where the remainder of her Saiyan commrades were stationed at that time.

Although these apiritions were vivid, the Saiyan brushed them aside, doubting their authenticity. However, she did seem to have sporadic experiences of momentary seizure and memory lapse. Orvas later confirmed this with her, quoting her that she claimed to 'See the Spectrum' and that 'The powers of the Spectrum are now under my control... Saiyan...'. These rumours were later confirmed from security recordings recovered from the research base. However, the location itself was found to be totally empty at the time of it's inspection. Orvas and Vega were spotted leaving the planet with a large number of valuable items, including a deactivated android, later confirmed as the now missing model #25. These items are now believed to be in the possession of Frieza and his scientific team.

As they had travelled to the planet in a two man craft, it was agreed that Vega would return to Frieza first, accompanied with the Android. During her returns she witnessed the destruction of Seizou once more, though this time she was quite adamant of it's realism. Positive that her death was nigh, Vega prepared the Android. It would either proove to be something that may change the alien's mind over her death, or stop him altogether.
Unforunately, Frieza, though happy with her finding, eliminated Vega, piercing her chest with a lethal beam of energy that subsequently caused a hull breach. The Saiyan's body was never recovered, having been lost to the dark void of space...

In it's infancy, Frieza's legion of warriors was primarily composed of Saiyans, rogue Avalonians and bolstered with numerous other aliens. A few humans were also seen to work for the changeling lord at the height of his rule. However, as time passed, Frieza lost his power to the hands of Vega, Orvas and Android #25. With his loss in power he too suffered a massive loss in loyalty from his soldiers, as expected. Though very few knew of his actual loss of strength, many lost their loyalty over his visual absense. The changeling tried in great vain to keep his warriors under his control, but they were slowly lost to him in almost a year.

Within almost 11 years, Frieza had risen from a power of about 700 to a strength of 70,000. This rise in power led to new workers, followers and warriors. Utilising his research and scientific team, the changeling began the recruitment of warriors; aliens and human alike. They were genetically modified and donned with powerful armour and weaponry to become the alien Prince's famed Warriors. Though not nearly as strong as the changeling himself, these fighters have proved to be powerful adversaries.

Their standard equipment is composed of Mark 2 battle armour, as shown in the image to the left. The Mark 1 variant is the original standard armour that is quick associated with Saiyans, despite it's actual origins of manufacture within Frieza's own corporation. The Mark 1 is still constructed as a commercial product, whereas Mark 2 armour is reserved for the changeling's army.

The warriors are also equipped with standard VK-Assault Rifles; high powered semi-automatic guns that fire electronically charged aluminium through a magnetic barrel. They provide lethal stopping power to most conventional targets. Other weapons documented include SaHU Missile Launchers and Standard MK2-'Magnum' Pistols.
