Unfortunately, Geist was born with muscular dystrophy, meaning his legs were too frail and weak to support his body. Confined to a wheelchair, Geist's mother had no choice but to contact his father.
Geist's father then took it upon himself to make his son and only heir strong enough to fight. Using his contacts in the Saiyan Army, he contacted Dr Koji, a renowned geneticist who took the three-year-old child and inserted him into his genetics program.
After a series of experiments, utilizing gene therapy, Koji cured Geist’s illness and began to train him, all the time putting him back into stasis so his body could become even stronger. Geist was not the only one on this top-secret program. Some of the Saiyan Empires strongest and most intelligent fighters were ‘enrolled’ on the program, with the aim of the Saiyan Army to create an even stronger legion of warriors. Ones that were devoid of any weakness and extremely powerful.
However, the warriors became too strong and the Army were forced to cancel the program, destroying most evidence and in the most extreme cases, certain warriors who were too advanced on the program. The ones the Army thought might actually usurp their positions. But still Geist remained, his father pulling strings so that “Koji would have something to do with his intelligence”; locked away in a room only a select few knew about. But the good times could not last for Geist’s father. Under much pressure from the Saiyan High Command, Geist’s father had to finally accept that it was over and ordered Koji to set his son free.
Now Geist is free and looking to find his father…
