After training for only a few months upon his twenty first birthday he was released from what would be the last detention center he would tour. He continued his training across the planet, moving to train with several well known instructors and, and pressed himself hard to become one of the best fighters alive. His thirst for battle did not totally dissolve and still dispite his best attempts to avoid conflict Ken still found himself at ends too often. After beating a challenger nearly to death and barely escaping the manhunt that insued from his friends, Ken decided that he would need to find a place where he could train in peace with a Master who would be able to control him.
Almost a year from the day when his journey began he heard rumors of a great warrior who trained only the best students on his own island. Eager to meet this man Ken searched for days before finally coming across someone who could take him to the Island, and allow him to meet Roshi. After waiting for two days for the turtle hermit to finally speak to him, Ken was finally accepted as one of his students. He knew that his journey was just then begining and that his destiny would unfold before him, that being his assencion to the top rank of martial artist and perhaps even becoming legend.
