He knew not how it had happened, nor who had made it happen, just that he had. He hated himself, his very existence, because he knew it was all a lie. He had been as he was now from the start. He appeared as a normal, twenty year old saiyan male. He had originally had a home, with a family. He knew that it was all a fabrication by the universe itself, so as to make him believe it were true.
Even then, standing on the edge of a canyon, ready to dive downwards to his death, he could feel the negative forces building around him. Whenever it reached a certain point, his spirit, if he had a spirit, would absorb it, so that it would not overload and destroy the balance. Originally, there was no need for such a being to exist, because the balance was normally. After awhile, the positive side grew. That was due to the growth of humanity, many long years ago. As humanity rose, so did the positive forces of the universe. This resulted in the age-old Kais, thought to be gods. As time went by, humanity began to destroy itself, slowly, though, because most still had hope for what was to come.
Eventually, many lost hope, and the negative forces sky-rocketed. That’s when Dane was created. He knew that if it were not for the suffering of others, his very existence would end, no longer necessary. Despite that, he wished evil upon all those that had contributed to his being created, and for fueling his life force. He hated life, if that’s what his experiences were called.
It all came down to his decision on whether or not to do as the Kai’s had done, and to accept that he was part of something larger, and instrumental to the continued existence of the universe, or that he wanted no part in it.
In some ways, he had chosen the Kai’s path, but in other ways, he had not. The truth was, he had decided that he would accept his existence; but that in this, he would make sure it would not come to an end. The balance between positive and negative was always shifting. Eventually, the day would come when he would dissolve, he had decided he would not let that happen.
He would dedicate himself to making sure people always suffered, so that the negative side of existence was constantly over-fed, ensuring he would never be snuffed out, and that he would always be necessary to the balance.
The thing was, he wanted the people of the universe to bring the suffering upon themselves. His ultimate goal would be to merely influence the peoples’ thoughts and choices, so that they would still be to blame for everything that happened to them.
This had become his aim, his want for a higher purpose. He would have the people of the universe destroy the very thing he himself was created to protect. To do this, he had to convince them that what they were doing was the right thing, the necessary thing, the thing that would save them. He would play on the peoples’ most basic instincts; jealousy, greed, and selfishness. They would look to him for the answers, they would think he was saving them. For that, he would take the name Saint Dane. For the people would see him as a Saint.

Saint Dane has no friends, but he realizes that his ultimate dream cannot be reached without some help along the way. With that in mind, he joined a rogue organization, known as "The Grim Tide" (Later becoming "The Conclave of Arbitrators" at his request) and has come to know it's members well enough to call them his allies. He has also convinced the leader to affiliate the alliance with another saiyan's own squad, "The Dark Wolves". Although he does not know the "Dark Wolves" members as he would like to, he calls the leader, Raditz, his ally.
Tsubasa
(Leader of the Conclave) - Saint Dane considers this man a worthy fighter, and knows he can trust him in battle.
First Meeting (Saint Dane learns a little about his future alliance leader, as well as how he fights)
Frieza
(Co-Leader of the Conclave) - Saint Dane recongizes this changeling as the most powerful conclave member, and a very devious individual.
First Meeting (Saint Dane learns that Frieza is a very powerful fighter)
Second Meeting (Saint Dane is able to pull away with a win, despite Frieza's immense power)
Tehran'he
(Student/Rival) - Saint Dane sees the female changeling as a opportunity. Although she is nothing more than a tool to him, as he has gotten to know her better, he is starting to see that she is more than what he originally thought, and realizes that she has the potential to be one of the universe's greatest warriors, with the right training and guidance
First Meeting (Saint Dane learns that Tehran'he is a skilled fighter, although her abilities need to be polished)
Second Meeting (Saint Dane finds that his words truly get to the changeling, and begins to taught her to see what she is truly capable of)
Face-to-Face (Saint Dane meets his "student" in person, and engages in a test battle with her)
Assisstance (Tehran'he comes to Saint Dane's aid, and helps him to complete Frost's training)
Android 19
Although not as powerful as Frieza, Saint Dane sees the android as someone with immense that can more easily be pawned and controlled than the changeling prince. As of now, his intent is to use Android 19 to get himself places without too much trouble.
Interference (Saint Dane is attacked by the android while he is fighting Tehran'he for the first time)
Raditz
Saint Dane has not had as much contact with this fighter as he has some of his other allies, but the small amount of time has told him that Raditz is a smart and strong fighter, even if a bit unorthodox. He sees that this saiyan could be helpful in the future, although he doesn't quite need his abilities yet.
First Meeting (Saint Dane gathers that Raditz is a strong fighter, although silly in his mannerisms)

During his short time in the "open", Saint Dane has met many different fighters, and several have developed into full-scale enemies. Being very cocky, he does not call just anyone an enemy, and may even hold his enemies above his allies. To be his actual enemy, Saint Dane has to see you as an extremely good fighter, and someone that's well-worth his time.
Gosai
Saint Dane has fought this human on three occasions, and each time was pressed to his limits. The saiyan will certainly be on the lookout for Gosai in the near future, for he knows that their paths are destined to meet again.
First Meeting (Saint Dane enters the battle, expecting an easy win, but is eventually overcome by Gosai's brute strength)
Second Meeting (Saint Dane is able to defeat Gosai after a short battle, but only with the use of his strongest technique, and the help of his demonic bioman)
Third Meeting (Saint Dane again defeats Gosai, but for the second time calls on his strongest attack)
Chill
Saint Dane believes this changeling is a note-worthy fighter, even if he's not quite on par with his own abilities. The way he uses his tail in combat was also something that added to his dangerousness as a combatant. The saiyan will be sure to pay attention to his fighter as he progressess.
