- Biography -
He stayed on the ship for about six months, then he learned to walk and stumbled out of the ship. Unable to figure out a way to get back in, he made he way into a town and was stuck in an orphanage where he was raised until he was five, immediately leaving on his birthday (Which was celebrated on the date of the day the orphanage took him in) he set out on his own, leaving all of his possessions except for the clothes he was already wearing. He watched through the windows and open doors of martial arts dojos and quickly picked up on the gist of the fighting form then began to develop his own style, a healthy balance of strength, speed, stamina, and toughness.
He honed his still young body to the point he could take blows, but dish them out just as quickly as they came. As he grew and begun to get in fights with people in various tournaments he would enter just to compare himself to masters of battle, even in some fights with tough looking men on the streets, he started to hone his speed, as he realized it would help him in the long run to take less and land more hits. He maintained a balanced but high end speed fighting style and soon decided the simple human fighters weren’t a challenge enough anymore. He fought in underground contests between only the most powerful humans, and various mixed in aliens, improving himself rapidly and becoming well known from town-to-town as he was a drifter, never staying in one place for long. His constant moving helped him to later become the type of person who could let most things go without an emotion let-down. At some point he came across a saiyan in a tournament who handed his ass to him on a silver platter and told him he was a disgrace to the saiyan race.
Dane had always known he was special, there was the obvious point of the tail that grew right under his lower back, but also his ability to recover rapidly, fight seemingly non-stop without tire, and become stronger with each blow he took. Ashamed at this defeat, but intrigued, he asked the saiyan for answers, and got enough to know he was of the warrior race known as the saiyans from Planet Vegeta. That he must have been a baby who was sent out at a young age because he looked like he was going to be a weak fighter who would just waist space on the planet. For a few years he wanted to know more, and to go find his real family and people, but he later realized they had sent him away because they thought he was going to be worthless, when in reality, he had turned out to be quite the little fighter.
Overtime he had developed a love for the natural beauty of all that around him, and swore he would protect it. A little while later he realized that the people on Earth, like most of those in the galaxy, overlooked the magic that was there to create artificial beauty. Dane decided, after looking over the history of the humans for a few weeks, that they were not a race persuaded simply by any amount of facts and feelings. They were interested in war, money, and sex. They were like so many others, and he knew that to keep to his vow, he would have to change his personality, and begin to wipe out the population that he now considered riffraff. Seeing himself as doing the right thing at a small price, he took the surname of Saint Dane, Dane being a mixed up version of the name that the orphanage gave him, ‘Nade’.
