Between the time Vegeta landed on Earth & then pursued the Dragonballs, as did Goku, to Namek, another Saiyan Warrior escaped the destruction of Old Vegeta, this Saiyan's name was Diive, oldest son of Nappa. Diive was sent to Earth, much like his Saiyan counterparts, to take over the vast planet and sell it to the highest bidder. But getting word from other surviving Saiyans that his home planet had been destroyed, Diive came to Earth and fell into a deep depression.

Then only thing that snapped him out of it was a Human, a young lady to be exact, named Yasmin. Diive was always seen as a brute, but this young women melted his heart of ice and won his love. As time went on, years to be precise, they conceived a son together, his name is of course, Sao. When Sao was but a mere child, the age of 4, his father was murdered before him by a savage Saiyan named Kempo. Kempo traveled the galaxy, looking for a suitable planet to conquer and reform into New Vegeta.

When Diive stood up for the planet Earth and the one's he loved, Kempo slaughtered the newly changed Saiyan. Sao and his mother managed to escape, thanks to the heroic efforts of Diive, As for Kempo, he was later beaten by the Earth warrior, Master Roshi. Now as the man of the house, Sao vowed to become a great warrior, pure of heart and soul, just like his father had become. He vowed to protect not only his mother, but anyone who was unable to defend themselves. His journey begins now, his destiny, begins now!
