- Character History -
Tala was born on planet Vegeta to a couple of no-name, lower-class warriors. She was involved in a revolutionary saiyan group growing up. Near her fourteenth birthday the warriors executed a coup that failed miserably, ending in the deaths of 1/5 of Vegeta's warriors, including her parents.
After the movement, a very spiteful Tala was left with a stricter system which kept an ever-vigilant eye on the part of Vegeta from which she heralded. She became even more riled up than she was before, and began to use her emotions for power. In less than two years she had surpassed the majority of the third class base. Upon proving herself she became the symbol for the revolution. Unfortunately, by then the third class had been scared into submission after the bloodbath three years before. Though Tala had avoided any serious punishment because of her indispensable skills as a soldier before gaining her rank, she was finally arrested and taken to King Vegeta himself, where the elites hoped to silence her voice, and thereby silence the small uprisings.
Tala's arrest took place in a large saiyan cantina, where many of her friends had been sitting right next to her. When no one came to her aid, Tala realized that she came from a race of cowards, and that even her friends could not be counted on. This betrayal and subsequent epiphany threw Tala into an identity crisis, and a large amount of shame regarding her origin. Despite her promotion into the elites she packed her bags, built a spaceship and left for Namek, where she hopes to rediscover herself, completely disassociated from her saiyan heritage.
