Tala was born on planet Vegeta to a couple of no-name, lower-class warriors. She was trained under the expectations of expendable fighters. Growing up, she was involved in a revolutionary saiyan group bred from spiteful grunts who were tired of having their talents and potential wasted on small-time missions meant to lock them into their subordinate status. Her parents, also a part of this movement, were killed in an effort to overthrow the stronger regime. After the movement, a very spiteful Tala was left with a stricter system which kept an ever-vigilant eye on the part of Vegeta from which she heralded. She has been in a number of near-fatal insubordinate battles with her superiors, but she is kept around because of her indispensable skills as a soldier. She initiated these fights perfectly aware of her saiyan capability to gain large power boosts after recovering from near-death experiences. She is now 17, and her disrespect may be going a bit too far for her superiors.
